The humble list of movies I dig, but in a very random order. And I should also warn you already that here is a whole lot of European cinema going on, so chick flick hunters can move on ;)
1. Café de Flore (2011)
Incredibly beautiful story with good actors and great soundtrack. It contains two stories happening in two different times but how those stories eventually connect with each other is up to you to see! If I would have to sum up Café de Flore with three points, they would be: love, guilt and moving on. But don't worry, it is not cheesy at all. 2. The Hunt (2012)
A very sympathetic man is being accused of pedophilia by a little girl and his life turns into a nightmare. But even though the movie description in IMBd says that it is all because of an innocent little lie, this movie is so much more mysterious than that. So watch it very carefully! Also, the main actor Mads Mikkelsen totally rocks, so I can ALMOST forgive him his presence in this catastrophically bad TV-series Hannibal.
3. Eyes wide shut (1999)
One should never underestimate Stanley Kubrick. Most of you have probably already seen this movie but it never hurts to watch it again, since it is filled with little details and symbols that add more depth to the movie each time, starting from meaningful contrasts with colors to doubts about what is really happening and what might be a dream. I also really recommend you to find some professional analysis in the internet, "wow I didn't even notice that"- moments are guaranteed. 4. Baraka (1992)
Baraka does not have any words, so I am not gonna blabber much about it either, but lets make one thing clear: You MUST see it. Maybe have a glass of wine with it and enjoy.
