How was your morning? Mine was simply wonderful. I woke up already around 7 when Tuikku dragged a pair of socks and tennis ball to my bed as a small hint that it is time to go to the dog park! Oh and Tuikku is a dog (not a Turnpike like the autocorrect suggest), just to avoid misunderstandings. My boyfriend went on a ski trip and I got a lovely golden retriever girl to give me company for that time. Fair trade.
Dog park it was! And we had a great time there, despite the fact that Tuikku simply refuses to listen to me (maybe it’s my accent). Well, at least I got to throw a ball and run after it myself – great workout. The weather was nice and springy and we made a lot of new friends. Dogs are really like little children – helpless and clumsy yet incredibly amusing with their over-excitement of little things in life. It’s inspiring I must say. However, suddenly a gang of schizophrenic Chihuahuas showed up and even though they were on the other side of the fence, they kept terrorizing us mentally with their excessive barking, so we gave up and went home instead. Those poor little creatures...
Back at home Tuikku had to take a quick shower because even though she is a real lady, sometimes even ladies cannot fight back the occasional temptation to roll in mud. Also, a stripe of drool on the nose happens to everyone as well. After a small game of not letting me exercise in the house, she finally fell asleep and I have a long and busy day ahead of me. I guess I got the idea of how the life of a single mother looks like.
PS you
probably noticed that this post doesn’t contain anything deep since I’m a crazy
dog person. But thanks anyway for reading :)
